Samantha is relaxing on the couch with a warm rag over her face when a man (who she thinks is her boyfriend) enters the room. She begins to interact with him, not knowing he’s actually an intruder. When she smells an odd chemical being applied to her washcloth, she takes a peek and discovers that she’s in danger. The intruder lowers the rag over her mouth as she struggles in vain, and soon succumbs to the chloroform. Samantha is now his helpless play toy.
